As he was cleaning up after an outdoor church youth event, a young man came up to Jason and started a conversation by asking, “What were you doing?”  When Jason said it was a church event, it led the young man to share that he was an atheist who hated God.  To the young man’s surprise, Jason responded by listening and asking questions.  At the end, the young man said, “You’re the first Christian that has ever taken the time to truly listen to my story.  I need help, would you help me?”  Learn how listening led to a long-term relationship where God used Jason to lead the young man to faith.

When Jenni and Darlene started volunteering to bring food and house items to the poor, Darlene was not a Christian.  The point when Darlene turned and began to seek God, was when she asked Jenni, “Why do you do this?”  Jenni told her she was doing it to bring people closer to God.  That conversation sparked Darlene’s interest in God, but she wasn’t ready to make a commitment.  Learn how Jenni planted the seed of the Gospel and continued to water it until the time was right.
