“Why did God make us,” and, “What is God’s plan for my life,” have been two of the most asked questions since Adam and Eve.

Both are resolved in God’s desire for all of us to spend Eternity with Him in Heaven.

God purposed that none of us would be lost for Eternity, and He has a plan for each of us to accomplish that purpose by moving everyone, every day, closer to Jesus.

All of us find ourselves happy and unhappy during the course of every day, depending on what’s happening at the moment. But the “Joy of the Lord” is a gift from God that puts a bounce in your step no matter what you’re going through.

Joy has nothing to do with circumstances and everything to do with living your life for His purpose, rather than your earthly purposes. God’s plan is to reach the lost through you, and the degree to which you do that will determine the degree of joy in your life.

If you’re still searching for God’s purpose for your life, you’re wasting your time!

God doesn’t have a different purpose for each one of us, lest we live our lives at cross purposes.   He has but one purpose, to seek and save the lost, so none will be lost.

And when you live your life for His purpose, He promises to make everything in your life work for good.  He has nothing more important for you to do!

God addresses the Church at Ephesus, in Revelation 2, with great applaud and then a warning that they have replaced their ‘First Love’ for Him and no longer doing their ‘First Work,’ telling people about Him.   He then calls them to Repentance or He will remove their testimony, which is what we often see today in our churches and the lives of Christians.

New Christians are the most prolific faith sharers because God is their ‘First Love’ at conversion.  And out of their excitement for God they do the ‘First Work’ of telling people about Him.  Whatever we love most and are most excited about, we tell to our friends.

God’s admonition to the Church at Ephesus and to us is to keep Him No. 1 in our lives and living that truth by telling people about Him.  If you’re no longer doing that, God is no longer your First Love.

Over 80% of those around us will miss Heaven unless someone, unless you, tell them what they desperately want to believe . . . that God loves them!

It’s never been easier to share your faith! Every day God gives you opportunities that will allow Him to love people through you, with zero stress and zero pressure!

That’s the fun part! There’s no preparation needed because the Holy Spirit will give you the words to say, when you run out of words to say.

This is what being a Christian is all about.

Most Christians are sitting on the bench today, complaining about everything including their own players, with no intention of getting off the bench and being part of the solution rather than the problem.

You can’t change the entire world, but you can change your world, every day, one person at a time.  And when each of us changes “our worlds,” we’ll change the world!  And to make it even easier, know that it’s a team sport!

All you need to do is to play your position well moving everyone, at every opportunity, closer to Jesus.

Are you adding to the chaos by complaining about everything or are you, by prayer and supplication, including God and His love for us in all of your conversations . . . leading people to Jesus?

Unfortunately, most Christians believe the promotion of their own goodness, in contrast to the evil of this world, is sharing their faith. But while being good may generate admiration from those around you and increase your self-esteem, being good doesn’t get you or anyone else into Heaven.

God has given you influence, the question is: Are you using your influence to promote yourself or to lead people to Jesus?  Are you allowing God to love people through you when you feel His nudge?

Follow the budge, live in the F.O.G – the “Favor of God.”

God is not an illusive God that you might meet some day in Eternity.  He’s not only with you, closer than a brother, never leaving you or forsaking you, but He wants an intimate relationship with you.

In our human condition, it’s impossible to comprehend the depth of God’s love for us . . . that He’s created you to spend Eternity with Him as a joint heir with Christ.  And even beyond that, right now, to partner with Him to lead others to Him.

There’s nothing more intimate, or more exhilarating, than having the God who made you, speaking through you, opening the eyes of those around you who Satan has blinded to His truth.

These are the worst of times and the best of times! Satan is at the top of his game, wreaking havoc and destroying lives worldwide, while fear is provoking them to search for God – and being open to the message that God loves them!

You may be at the precipice of the greatest revival ever, before the Lord returns, and have the joy of being part of it.  What an honor!  The world is desperate for the Good News that God

has placed inside of you.  Out of millions of years and billions of people, God chose you to represent Him in these Last Days.

As a Christian, a hundred years from now, the only thing that will matter is how many people will be in Heaven because of your influence.  Paul describes those he led to the Lord as His reward in Heaven.

This is how you ignite your life . . . by getting as many people as possible into Heaven, before you see the Lord face-to-face.
