Chapter 6
One of the reasons God allows trials in our lives is for our own growth so that we can help others in their greatest times of need. This is also how God allows us to know Him—living for His purposes to seek and save the lost, and moving everyone, every day, closer to Jesus.
Life Application
If you’re following Christ, you will move everyone, every day, closer to Him: Mark 1:7 (NASB)
No one gets mad when you tell them, “God loves you!” John 13:35 (NKJV)
It’s freedom to know God gives you the words to say: Luke 12:12 (NKJV)
It’s supernatural how God reminds you what you’ve been told to tell others: John 14:26 (NKJV)
Anger allows Satan to separate you from God: John 15:11 (NIV)
Bearing fruit (new Christians) fills your life with God’s joy: John 15:11 (NKJV)
We have so many stories in our lives that could impact others. What do we do with them?
One day, Barry prayed with a waitress. Be inspired by the amazing testimony that followed!
Pastor Jason Powell of Harvest Church encourages us to always be ready to share the Good News.
Contrary to what you may believe, most of the unchurched people in your life want to know more about God.
Chapter 7
Sometimes, seemingly spontaneous moments occur that are actually divine appointments orchestrated by God. You may be God’s only point of contact with certain people you know! God expects all of us to move everyone, every day, closer to Jesus. Ezekiel 33:8 (NKJV).
Life Application

The Great Commission was given to everyone, even laypeople. What does it mean?
Why would Jesus say fulfilling these two commandments fulfills the entire law?
How are they going to know unless someone tells them the Good News? You’re in full-time ministry!
When you fulfill these two commandments, you have fulfilled them all.
Chapter 8
Millions of Christians misinterpret Romans 8:28 (NLT) and believe it means that everything will work for our good—and that nothing bad will ever happen to us. When bad things happen, they lose their faith in God. But this verse actually means that when we live for God’s purposes, not ours, “all things work together for good.” The good that God orchestrates is always redemptive, bringing more people to Him!
Life Application
We’re called to live for God’s purpose, not our purpose: Romans 8:28 (NKJV)
God knows better than us how to fulfill the desires of our heart: Psalm 37:4 (NLT)
When we stop doing the first work (sharing our faith), our love for God grows cold: Revelation 2:1–5 (NKJV)
A role of the pastor is to equip us for ministry: Ephesians 4:11–12 (NLT)
God’s sole purpose for coming to earth was the redemption of mankind: Luke 19:10 (NKJV)
Far better to have eternal rewards in heaven than temporary rewards on earth: Matthew 5:12 (NIV)
Jesus transferred to us the responsibility of bringing people to Him: 2 Corinthians 5:18–20 (NKJV)
Our current suffering will be forgotten forever when we see Jesus: Romans 8:18 (ESV)
The world is desperate for the peace that comes from God: Philippians 4:7 (NKJV)

We are all called to live our lives for God’s purpose, to seek and save the lost.
God, not man, is our source for everything. When things go wrong, God is up to something!
