The concept that every faith-sharing experience should end with having people on their knees, praying the Sinner’s Prayer, is one of the major reasons most Christians don’t share their faith. And it’s completely unscriptural. The parable of sowing seeds on hard vs. fertile ground makes it abundantly clear that our words will have various levels of success, depending on the person involved. For most, it will take multiple encounters with Christians to bring clarity. Knowing this eliminates the pressure and opens the door to fun conversations.
