We’re Letting This Happen!

None of the chaos we’re experiencing today would be happening without our consent.  Freedom has made us complacent in our walk and indifferent to the lost. Less than 10% of our pastors still give altar calls and less than 1% of Christians still share their faith, while 80% of our population is on a collision course with the Anti-Christ.

Our Silence is Killing Us
Because of our silence over the last 60 years, America has become a godless, blinded people led by godless, blinded politicians.  Satan blinds the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light (II Cor 4:4).  And it’s Christians who have elected our godless leaders!  None of our godless leaders would be in office if just half of all Christians voted in recent elections.  We’ve let this happen!

And for more than 60 years, we’ve been told by our pastors that serving in public office was evil.  We’ve literally sat on the sidelines watching mostly godless people being elected to our school boards and city councils and state and federal offices.  And now our pastors, who have railed against serving in public office, are railing against our godless politicians for closing our churches. We’re reaping what we’ve sown!

Satan’s Taking Full Advantage
Meanwhile, Satan doesn’t care about the color of your skin or whether or not you get sick from COVID.  But he’s using both to permeate America and Christians with fear and confusion and separation and isolation.  COVID is real and people have died. But more people are dying from drug overdoses and suicides than from COVID, and most blacks are being murdered by other blacks. The illogical attack on the black community by those claiming to represent them is pure evil!

Persecution is Not All Bad
The Church always flourishes best under persecution. That’s why there’s Revival throughout the Middle East, while church attendance in America has been declining for 60 years.  Around the world today, millions of Christians are going to church every Sunday, knowing it could cost them their lives . . .  while millions of healthy American “Christians” are hiding in their homes on Sundays, afraid they might catch a virus.

Here’s the Facts
There’s less than a 1% chance of dying from the virus, unless you have other health problems . . . and masks don’t work!  Even the best masks, being N95 masks, are only 95% effective in protection against particulates of three microns or more, while virus particulates are less than one micron. Masks have no value whatsoever in fighting COVID and, in fact, may impair your health.  And yet, millions of Christians are wearing them out of fear . . . beyond government edicts.

It was President Franklin Roosevelt who said, “We have nothing to fear but fear itself.”  And apparently that’s enough for American pastors and Christians. While loving God casts out all fear, it’s fear that’s keeping our churches closed and healthy Christians staying home from church!  We urgently need to increase our love and trust for God!

God’s Using This For Good
Satan has been overwhelmingly successful in using COVID and race relations to create mass fear and confusion, but here’s the good news:  Fear and confusion are powerful motivators for seeking God.  In spite of Satan and pastors and Christians who are closing their churches and not sharing their faith, fear and confusion are driving the masses to seek God.  That’s why churches going online, even our smallest churches, are having record attendance.

Opportunity is Knocking
Can you imagine what would be happening if the doors to our churches were open and Christians were openly sharing their faith?  The response would be gigantic! The only thing that’s preventing the greatest Revival in the history of the world is the pastors of over 80% of our churches keeping their sanctuaries closed, while the unchurched are desperately seeking God and Christians are waiting for marching orders!

Our nation’s laws prevent our government from closing our churches and God’s law prevents us from allowing it!  When they tried to stop Peter and John from preaching, they said (Acts 4:18-20), “Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than Him?  We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard.”

Who Do We Fear
Do we fear man, or do we fear God?  Do we fear our government and a virus more than we trust God . . . and more than we want to win the masses who are seeking Him right now because of the virus?  There has never been a more critical or easier time to move everyone, every day, closer to Jesus! And the worse things get, the easier it will be to lead people to Jesus . . . and yet we stay silent!

Final Thought
As a pastor, knowing the Rapture could happen at any moment, how could you possibly allow the State to close your church to the masses who are seeking God?  And as a Christian, how can you possibly allow your unsaved friends to miss the Rapture . . . and face the Anti-Christ?

Please . . .  Don’t let this happen!!!
