Fear Is America’s Wake-up Call!

Most Americans are Living in Fear!
Americans, in the land of the free and the home of the brave, are being overwhelmed with fear. Almost 75% of Americans now find themselves in fear of impending doom . . . in stark contrast to the world’s perception of “America the Beautiful” and the global dream of one day becoming an American.

How Far We’ve Fallen
In 1960, 70% of our population were people of faith, honoring God and going to church. From then to now, fear has escalated in direct proportion to the decline of church attendance, to an all-time low of only 20% (pre-COVID). The two are directly related. The Bible tells us 365 times to ‘Fear Not,’ because fear is the opposite of faith, and “without faith, it’s impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6).

What’s Prompting Our Fears?
The prompters of fear in America are too numerous to iterate in a short article. They range from political, racial, and financial, to health and environmental. Any one of these threats carries the potential of impending doom in their worst-case scenarios. And those viewing them in their worst cases are, at best, fearful, if not angry and explosive. It doesn’t take much to send most people into rage today.

Fear Stirs Anger and Violence
Oppressive fear has turned America into a powder keg of emotions being used by Satan to divide us as a nation. Satan’s having a field day tearing us apart . . . blinding the eyes of 80% of our population, making them see evil as good and good as evil. They’re literally lost! This is not our grandfather’s America where most of our population attended church every Sunday, doors were left unlocked and kids could play outside after dark.

The Common Trigger
Apart from God, fear transitions to ‘Out of Control’ fear, which is the trigger for anger and violence. It’s human nature to lash out when there’s no resolution to our fears. It’s called hopelessness and that’s where most Americans are right now, with no hope in sight.

From God’s Perspective . . .
The ‘Persecuted Church’ model is far more effective than the ‘Blessed Church’ model for bringing people to Christ. Revival is taking place in every country where Christians are being put to death for their faith, while the American Church is imploding in a free society that no longer has faith. Fear is America’s ‘Wake-Up’ call!

Americans are living in fear because 80% of our population are living Godless lives and encountering supernatural forces that cannot be defeated without God. And yes, the very forces that are causing fear are causing people to turn back to God. Most people coming to Christ are provoked to do so by the fear of something negative in their lives.

An Amazing Opportunity
After almost 250 years of living beyond the perils of this world, Americans now find themselves under attack from almost every direction, even from inside the church. This leaves you with two choices: You can either join the chorus of doom and gloom, or view this for what it is – an unprecedented opportunity to lead people to Jesus Christ. People living in fear want out – and there’s only one way out!

This is Opportunity Knocking!
Over 80% of the unchurched know the world is out of control, are hoping there’s a God who can end the chaos, are looking for someone to tell them, and already have at least one Christian in their life that they trust. It’s never been easier to share your faith because almost everyone around you is living in fear.

Here’s the best news: You get to tell them God’s Love casts out all fear!
