Hi, my name is Lori Gonzalez, and I’m just always so overwhelmed and blessed by the fact that the Lord can use little old me to share the gospel and to tell Jesus about, or tell them about Jesus. I’m a real estate agent, and there was a time where someone called in and they were looking at a home, and so I was following up with them on that home, and after the course of a couple of calls, she had said that she was going to hold off. She had been going through some things and needed to put that on the back burner. And so, I said, okay, I’ll just follow up with you later in the year, if that’s okay? And she said, yes. And so, I knew in my heart, when we hung up the phone, that I needed to call her sooner than later. And so, I called her back, and I just said, hi, my name is Lori. We spoke before, and I just know that you had told me that you were going through some things, and I actually just called to see how you were doing, see if you were okay. And at that moment, I can hear her weeping in the other side of the phone, and she began to share with me what had happened in her life, and she had four children under the age of seven, and the dad just left, and he took everything with him, and she had gone from a good size rental home into a one bedroom apartment, and had nothing, and she just didn’t know what to do. And I was just talking with her and just hearing her story, and I asked her, you know, what kind of things would be helpful? And she told me, and I just said, okay. And so, as we got off the phone, I had asked her if I could come visit, and I came by and actually got in contact with some people, and was able to bring some things over to her. She was so thankful for that and thanking me for it. And I told her, you know, Don’t thank me. I actually want you to know that Jesus loves you and He cares for you, and He knows your needs. And so, I got to share with her the love of Christ and that He died for her and that he cares for her, and that he’s there for her. She let me pray with her. In fact, she called all her kids over and said, you know, Lori’s going to pray with us. And it was just a beautiful moment at that time. And she was just so thankful that, for that. And I got to, you know, extend an invitation for her, come over and come with me to church sometime, and I just left there knowing that when I can say yes, when I ask the Lord to use me, he just overwhelms me with how much he entrusts me to be able to partner with him in that you may say, Gosh, I could never do that. And I know I can relate to being a little bit shy about going out there and doing things like that. But every single time that I just pray, Lord, I am willing use me and make an intentional moment to meet people and share the gospel. He does it every time, and God’s our greatest cheerleader. He says that we can do all things through Christ, and that we are more than conquerors through Christ, Jesus. So through the power of the Holy Spirit, he helps us and equips us to do that, and I would challenge you to do that today, you will be so blessed by it.
