What percentage of U.S. Adults believe in a cosmic force rather than God?

30% of U.S. adults believe in a cosmic force rather than the Almighty God described in the Bible.

This IgniteAmerica Certified Statistic is based on the following research:

Percentage of US adults that believe in a cosmic force:

33%    When Americans say they believe in God, what do they mean? Pew Research Center, 2018

33%    State of the Church, The Barna Group, 2016

25%    American Values Survey, Public Religion Institute, 2013

Cultural Context:

Movies like Star Wars, that have been viewed by 90% of America and 45% of the world’s population, have enticed the scripturally illiterate into believing in an amoral, impersonal force that ultimately consumes all of us . . . as opposed to a loving, righteous God who created us in His own image, to be known as we are known and living with Him forever in Heaven.

There is no immortality, moral standard, or Eternal meaning to a human’s life with a cosmic force. It is the rejection of a pure and Holy God, who created us to spend Eternity with Him in Heaven.

Scriptures:

You do not have His Word abiding in you, for you do not believe in Him who sent me (Jesus).
John 5:38

Jesus said you unbelieving generation, how long shall I put up with you . . .
Luke 9:41

He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.
John 3:18
