Colossians 1:16 tells us: For by Him were all things created, that are in the earth, visible and invisible . . . and by Him all things exist, which makes human ‘pride of ownership of anything’ absurd. A hundred years from now, what we’ve owned, accumulated, and accomplished will be meaningless.
The Apostle Paul says it well in Galatians 6:14: As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is the accumulation of riches in God’s Salvation that requires us to do everything we can do to reach lost before it’s too late.
